Provider Marketing Coordinator
Responsible for projects in support of provider marketing and communications for ongoing communication with and education of current providers, provider acquisition, and network expansion activities such as licensure and contracting. Reporting to the manager of provider marketing, the coordinator helps plan, create, implement, track, and evaluate marketing communications and other campaigns. The coordinator conducts data analysis to identify communication needs and to evaluate the effectiveness of those communications developed and deployed. This position requires superb project management, writing, and analytical skills, as well as extensive, hands-on planning and implementation. The position may also support market research efforts designed to improve market penetration and/or provider awareness, education, and satisfaction. The coordinator partners with other areas of the marketing and communications department, as well as provider and partner relations teams, contracting, claims, customer service, and IT, as appropriate.
Requirements
Develop provider communications, including payment policy changes, processes, and other administrative updates. Work with internal requestors, when relevant, to establish tone and content. Plan and execute distribution, tracking, and evaluation. Obtain necessary approvals within and outside of marketing.
- Develop provider clinical communications where there is no parallel member communication. Partner with clinical departments on content, tone, timing, and evaluation, and with online promotions within marketing to ensure consistency.
- Partner with membership marketing and provider relations to increase member enrollment through the provider channel. Coordinate tracking of conversions, including updating and disseminating the signed conversion grid and other tools as needed.
- Coordinate marketing vehicles such as direct mail, telemarketing, direct sales, advertising, and/or Web to reach appropriate targets. Track and monitor responses and results of all campaigns. Provide analysis to team.
- Support communications needs of contracting team, including the licensure process as needed, including creating and/or coordinating tracking tools and the communication thereof.
- Create and/or assist with development of sales collateral or other material for provider acquisition; with materials or other programs intended to ensure smooth transition of new providers into the plan; and/or with materials or other programs for provider retention.
- Partner with product development and web/e-business to contribute to the development of benefits and services to improve provider acquisition and retention efforts and to promote those benefits through existing or new vehicles. Create and/or assist with materials or other campaigns to promote electronic services.
- Conduct research as necessary on provider demographics and trends, behaviors, and technology adoption. Find and analyze secondary data, and work with Informatics and other internal teams to analyze Network provider data.
- Partner with customer service to support high-quality service to providers.
- Participate in research and analysis to assist with projects such as provider satisfaction, provider acquisition, and/or provider service development.
- Assist with branding development for provider audiences, and enforce consistency in any materials developed.
- Work with leadership to deliver and coordinate marketing plans and budgets as part of annual planning process and on an ongoing basis as needed.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- A strong candidate will have at least four years of marketing, communications, and retention experience. Must be able to effectively target professional (provider) customer segment. Must have direct, hands- on experience developing communications, tracking communications or campaigns, and evaluating effectiveness of such communications. Must be comfortable using a number of different marketing and communications vehicles. Must be comfortable conducting quantitative analysis and secondary research. Ability to collaborate cross functionally to achieve objectives. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of marketing care providers attitudes, needs, and behaviors and be committed to customer satisfaction, education, and retention.

Account Coordinator, Provider/Partner Support
As part of the network management team within the provider/partner support group, the account coordinator will handle the internal management of our provider and partner interactions. The provider/partner support group serves as the liaison between the field staff and the rest of the organization and serves as the central internal point for tracking the relationship our providers and partners. The provider/partner support group also serves as a back-up point of contact for the customers while working through issues or in the event that field staff is not available.
Requirements
- Monitor and track provider and partner account information for field service team, including but not limited to membership enrollment/disenrollment rates, provider Web usage and EDI, and claims issues.
- Based on customer information, prepare the field staff for on site visits with specific targets. Generate reports to monitor provider and partner accounts. Work with field team to fine tune the frequency of visits for each customer and to identify customers needing training or other information. Coordinate provider and partner events in conjunction with field staff. Prepare presentation materials and handouts for informational events and orientations.
- Maintain the integrity of provider and partner accounts and support the field services team in relationship management of providers and partners.
- Receive, log, and ensure timely response to inbound communication from providers and partners. Brief appropriate field staff on account activity.
- Serve as point of contact for all internal provider and partner projects and activities. Provide assistance for provider research projects as requested. Represent provider interests in offering feedback on policy or procedure changes. Assist with communicating policy or procedure changes to providers and partners. Provide feedback to provider marketing throughout the design and implementation of service and satisfaction research and initiatives. Provide feedback to clinical affairs staff as requested to design and implement quality improvement programs and to monitor customer success toward reaching measures.
- Seek opportunities to encourage providers to do business with us electronically. Monitor the electronic processes and look for opportunities to improve the customer experience to ensure greater adoption.
- Coordinate and execute projects, including provider conversions, service area expansions, provider- or partner-driven voluntary enrollment campaigns.
- Gather, build, and maintain provider and partner account profiles with all appropriate contact information. Assist providers and partners with enrolling in Network marketing programs and utilizing services stretching from social case management to Web registration and set-up.
- Track and relay provider and partner market intelligence as discovered.
- Coordinate contracting information with regional network managers including overseeing contract prep, mailing and tracking.
- Assist in the development and implementation of departmental processes, polices, and procedures.
Additional duties

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Must have a minimum of four years in a sales or service support position or provider relations experience in internet marketing. Demonstrated ability to handle projects from conception to execution. Demonstrated ability to lead cross functional teams to achieve task at hand. Must be highly organized and be able to multi-task and work as part of a team. Experience supporting external personnel with a focus on preparations and ensuring appropriate follow-up a plus. Project management experience required. Must have pleasant phone manner and be able to maintain professional tone in difficult situations. Must be proficient with Microsoft applications and have a firm understanding of contact management systems.
